# Can I use articles of association I have already drafted?

Updated : 2026-10-22 · Source : https://legalrapide.fr/en/reponses/statuts-deja-rediges/

Yes. The articles of association do not have to be generated by a provider: you can supply your own, or those drafted by your lawyer, provided they contain the mandatory information (legal form, duration, company name, registered office, purpose, capital) and are consistent with the legal notice, the deposit certificate and the form.

## What we then check
- The mandatory information and the signatures.
- That the capital matches the deposit certificate.
- That the address, the president's name and the purpose match the legal notice.

We do not rewrite your clauses: any substantive change is a matter for your lawyer.
