TL;DR

Yes. No law requires you to hire a chartered accountant (expert-comptable) to set up a SASU, or to run it afterwards. Some free formation offers are tied to an accounting subscription; with LegalRapide, the Essentiel and Rapide plans require no subscription. Service-public

What remains mandatory without a chartered accountant

  • Keep accounts and prepare annual financial statements.
  • Approve the accounts within six months of the year-end and file them with the greffe.
  • File VAT and corporate income tax returns.

When a chartered accountant is useful

As soon as you pay yourself a salary, have employees or want to optimise the mix of salary and dividends. You can also keep your current chartered accountant.
